About Bushido Academy's Instructors

 

  Kyoshi Rick Hall

Master Hall started practicing martial arts at the age of ten.  Today he brings over thirty years of experience to the school that he founded twenty-five years ago.  Master Hall currently holds a 7th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate and a 4th degree black belt in Kobudo.  He is the school's senior instructor and works primarily with the black belts in the Seito Matsumura system.

  Sensei Chris Breward

Mr. Breward started training at the school in October 1997.  He currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate, a 2nd degree black belt in Kobudo, and was the USKK Grand National Champion in 2005 and 2006.  Mr. Breward is the school's Manager and Chief Instructor, teaches the majority of the school's classes, and manages many of our specialty programs including hosting birthday parties and our working with the Shoki Team.

  Gregory Allen

Mr. Allen has been a student at the Bushido Academy since October of 1993.  He has a 4th degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate, a 2nd degree black belt in Kobudo, and a 1st degree black belt in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido.

  Marshall Main

Mr. Main has been a student at the school for over eighteen years.  He currently holds a 4th degree black belt and is our most senior instructor.  He works exclusively with our youngest students in the school's Pee Wee program.
